Exciting progress is continuing across the new development at Akebar Park, and we’re pleased to share the latest update with both current owners and prospective buyers.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve reached a major milestone with the arrival and installation of brand-new lodges along the highly sought-after front row. Seeing these lodges in place really brings the development to life and gives a clear picture of what this area of the park will become.
Interest has been incredibly strong, with 7 plots already sold. This means availability is now limited, and we expect the remaining plots to be reserved quickly. If you’ve been considering ownership at Akebar, now is the time to act.
Infrastructure Progress: Piped Gas Now Installed
A key part of the development is ensuring high-quality infrastructure, and we’re delighted to confirm that piped gas has now been installed. This will supply both the new lodges and static caravans, offering a more efficient and convenient energy solution for owners in this area of the park.
This is a significant step forward in making the development fully functional and ready for occupancy as more lodges are sited.
Landscaping Taking Shape
Alongside the lodge installations, work on the central garden space is progressing beautifully. Liam has been leading the landscaping efforts and has already started planting a carefully selected range of plants to bring structure, colour, and character to the area.
What makes this even more special is that many of these plants have been grown from cuttings, adding a personal, thoughtful touch to the development.
The central space is beginning to take form, with the outer landscaped areas set to follow. In addition:
- Stone flags are now being laid, which will be complemented by surrounding gravel to create a clean, modern finish
- Large areas of turf have been installed, enhancing the green, open feel of the development
- New hedging has been planted, helping to create privacy and a sense of separation between plots
All of these elements are designed to create a welcoming, well-finished environment that owners can enjoy from day one, while also maturing beautifully over time.

There are still a small number of lodges available on the development, each offering a different style and layout to suit a range of buyers:
