With some parks closing over winter, here at Akebar, we’re a little more unique in that we’re only closed for only 3 weeks each year to all holiday homeowners and guests. During this time the park team focusses heavily on any required improvements and repairs throughout the entire park – ensuring it’s in prime condition for reopening.

Winter weekends at Akebar are some of our favourites: our site is re-opening from 1st February for owners and guests, but with the touring site still closed it’s nice and quiet. This means our owners and guests can enjoy all the benefits of the beautiful surroundings but enjoy a bit of added peace and tranquillity too.
And on cold winter evenings, who doesn’t love snuggling up with the family, enjoying some hot chocolate and cracking open a board game?
