Yes. The Friars Head Restaurant & Pub is located on the park and is open to both holiday home owners and the general public.

The Friars Head serves breakfast, lunch and evening meals, as well as Sunday lunches, seasonal specials and regular live entertainment throughout the year. It’s the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Yorkshire Dales, playing golf or enjoying a game of padel.

Yes. Akebar Park is dog friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome in many areas of the park.

There are plenty of scenic walks to enjoy directly from the park, making it an ideal destination if you’re bringing your four-legged friend. We also have an enclosed dog exercise field.

We simply ask that dogs are kept on a lead when in public spaces and that owners clean up after them.
