Brymor Ice Cream Parlour
Brymor has been creating beautiful, award-winning ice cream on their farm in Wensleydale for more than 34 years. The ice cream is so good .and is produced from their own herd of Guernsey cows that produce the finest, creamiest milk. The parlour also has extensive play areas and area to view some playful Guernsey Cavles.
The Wensleydale Railway is an authentic heritage railway serving the local community, offering tourists, families and transport enthusiasts a great value day out in the Yorkshire Dales. There is a station for the railway located just half a mile from our park in the village of Finghall.

Thorpe Perrow Arboretum and Bird of Prey Centre
Covering 100 acres, Thorp Perrow Arboretum boasts one of the largest collections of shrubs and trees in the North of England, including 5 National Collections. The Bird of Prey and Mammal Centre offers fascinating flying demonstrations and the chance to meet mammals such as meerkats, wallabies, pygmy goats and Shetland sheep.
Foxglove Covert Natural Reserve
Foxglove Covert Local Nature Reserve covers 100 acres of moorland edge adjacent to Cambrai Lines at Catterick and has a remarkable mix of habitats and species. The reserve contains semi-natural woodland, heathland, flower-rich grassland, streams, ponds, a lake, willow and alder carr, coniferous woodlands and wet meadows.
There’s acres of space where little legs can explore and imaginations can run riot here. You’ll be full of beans but out of puff once you’ve found a cave, a tunnel, spotted a special bird you’ve never seen before and discovered four new follies in the water garden.
The Yorkshire Dales
The Yorkshire Dales includes some of the finest limestone scenery in the UK, from crags and pavements to an underground labyrinth of caves. Each valley or ‘dale’ has its own distinct character, set against expansive heather moorland tops. Stone-built villages sit amongst traditional farming landscapes of field barns, drystone walls and flower-rich hay meadows, and show how the area has been shaped over thousands of years by the people who have lived and worked here.
